One of the things I told myself I would do with my blog was to post when I felt inspiration or enlightenment. I began this day feeling rather heavy, with a lot of things mentally and emotionally consuming me. As I write this, I feel compelled to encourage anyone who might read this, whenever you might read this…to let you know that no matter HOW low, or sad, or heavy, or mad, or frustrated you may feel…DIVINE GRACE IS REAL. For those who may not know me, you may think that some of the things I write about sound a little “preachy,” especially given my inclination to quote Scriptures. The great thing is, I am very comfortable in who I am, which is a Christian woman who happens to love and appreciate others regardless of their religious affiliations or beliefs. With this, I cannot withhold the joy and enlightenment that comes to me through my relationship with God and those to whom I am deeply connected to.

No matter what you may subscribe to Spiritually (if anything), I know that we are all powerful human beings. There are certain virtues that span across our lives as humans, and that can add virtue to our lives if we allow the space for them. Today, I personally experienced and am grateful for Divine grace. Let’s look at the definition….

GRACE: (Webster’s Collegiate Definition)

1a: unmerited divine assistance given to humans for their regeneration or sanctification

b: a virtue (beneficial quality or power of a thing; manly strength or courage) coming from God

c: a state of sanctification enjoyed through divine assistance

2a: APPROVAL, FAVOR

b. MERCY, PARDON

c: a special favor : PRIVILEGE

d: disposition to or an act or instance of kindness, courtesy, or clemency

e: a temporary exemption : REPRIEVE

I am so thankful to my Earth Angels around me (we all have them) who shed light and strength on me today. I know this life is tough, and I fully believe that none of us were called to walk this life alone. No matter how tough the burden, or complex the struggle…we have a GOD that sees it all, and who loves you no matter what. If you ever find yourself in a funk, or maybe just overwhelmed so it translates to tears or frustration because you can’t understand in your own “human” strength how you will get through…just remember that GRACE is here for you and for me….unlimited grace. It will show up how it needs to, it will empower or enable you walk into tough situations, it will give you the right words to say, it will put a smile where you want to frown, it will carry you through beyond your own understanding.

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.” No matter what challenge lies ahead, grace is there if we want it, when we ask for it!

[2 Corinthians 9:8]

“But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in (your) weakness.” *We do not have to be strong at all times. God waits for us to surrender things to Him…to allow HIS strength to cover our weak, human minds and flesh. He brings us strength we couldn’t have found on our own.

[2 Corinthians 12:9]

Thanks for reading my confessional today, I feel so encouraged and excited that this might shed light on someone who may feel low or out-of-sorts today. I pray that God would shed His grace on you today, whatever decision you have to make, whatever expectation you may have to fill for someone, whatever insurmountable task that may lie ahead…even if the list is too long of all that you have to accomplish. Grace is real, and I ask in faith that it comes your way TODAY. A-M-E-N.
